Air Side axial fans feature a patented design that includes a steel center disk and composite blades. This design enables the fans to be both lightweight and durable. The molding process for the blades allows the fan to be customizable to any diesel engine application. Because of the flexible molding process, Air Side’s in-house tooling is very affordable.
Centrifugal fans enable engine cooling in applications where space is at a premium or high pressure systems are required. Air Side centrifugal fans use a steel back plate with aluminum air-foil blades. Since the back plate and blades are manufactured separately and then assembled, the fans have an almost infinite variety of diameters, blade counts and blade pitches.
Fan spacers bridge the gap between the engine drive and fan drive on heavy-duty diesel engines. Air Side spacers are made from extruded aluminum and machined to fit almost any application. They can be made to any length and customized to locate the fan in the best position in the shroud to optimize engine cooling.
Air Side works with its sister companies – EH Baare and Vee Engineering – to put together complete fan systems for its customers. Using a Baare fan guard, Vee fan shroud, and an Air Side fan driven by a hydraulic motor, Air Side assembles total system packages ready to install in engine applications. The advantage for the Air Side customer is to have one supplier instead of multiple sources and to outsource the assembly and quality control of multiple parts.
